He began in Production, and was co-host of the sports talk program "Let's Talk Sports". |

Jesse began as a newsman for KNIT AM Abilene, then moved to DJ in rock, country, and easy listening, then to Program Director in Midland at KNFM/KNAM. He learned his engineering in Midland with Amateur Radio as his lab. In 1979 he was on air at the old KJYM in Fort Worth, before becoming station manager in Bowie, then Beeville, Kingsville, Orange, then Pleasanton; and from 1990 until 2005 he was first station manager then General Manager for KBUC-FM in San Antonio. He has won a National Addy Award and three Regional Addy Awards while as a copywriter for Permian Broadcasters in Midland.
Jesse also holds a Lifetime General Radio Telephone, and held a First Class Radio Telephone and First Class Maritime Radio License until they were converted to General License.
Jesse also does play by play for the Coleman Bluecat broadcasts. |
