FARM ADS SUDDENLY SEXY

Well, not like Victoria's Secret, of course... unless Victoria can come up with a designer line of overalls and straw hats! (I can poke fun at farmers.. I've been one.) What we're talking about here is an emerging upsurge in advertising and awareness of products the farmer and rancher needs to do their work. According to the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, radio is the primary and most-used source of daily agribusiness news and information. And, the field may become quite fertile (ahem), due to the fact that prices of commodities and farm products are rising quickly. And with more money coming in, farmers and ranchers' necessary expenditures for feed, seed, fertilizer and other products they need, will rise as well. Go call on local businesses like farm co-ops, feed stores and the local Tractor Supply or equivalent. You may be able to "bring home the bacon", with an ad campaign.

MARTY'S BACKYARD PARTY

Once again, we kick off summer with Marty Montell doing his show from "his house", with a backyard pool party and barbecue on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26. This foray into radio imagination even includes irate neighbors complaining of the noise. So if Marty isn't arrested before the conclusion of the show, it should be great fun.
